About the Classic
Benefiting the Sunshine Kids Foundation
The Houston Croquet Classic is a fundraising activity that has
been held nearly every year since 1983 to raise money for the
Sunshine Kids Foundation, a Houston-based 501 (c) 3
nonprofit organization whose mission is to add quality of life
to children with cancer by providing them with exciting,
positive group activities designed to place them in an
atmosphere where they can do what kids are supposed to do
. . . have fun and celebrate life. The Sunshine Kids Foundation
serves thousands of children and their families each year,
free of charge.
The Croquet Classic is a fun-filled croquet tournament that
includes food, music, dancing, and a silent auction. Since 1983, the Croquet Classic has raised nearly $400,000
to help the Sunshine Kids Foundation bring joy to the lives of
Kids with cancer in Houston and across North America. More
than 75% of every dollar donated, and 100% of corporate
sponsorship funds, goes directly to the Sunshine Kids
Foundation.
